Window Cleaning Sunshine Coast

Coastal homes from Caloundra to Noosa are built to look at the view, which means very large panes, a lot of stacker doors and glass balustrades on the deck. All of it collects salt, and the tracks collect sand — often enough of it that the door stops running properly before anybody thinks about cleaning the glass. Holiday properties add the other pattern we see constantly: a house shut for months, opened a week before a booking, with glass that has a season of salt on it and screens that have not been off in years.

What we get called out for in Sunshine Coast

  • Very large panes, stacker doors and deck balustrades on coastal homes, cleaned with purified water so nothing dries back
  • Sand cleared out of sliding door tracks, which is usually why the door has stopped running smoothly
  • Holiday properties opened up before a booking, with a season of salt film taken off the glass and the screens washed

The method itself is the same wherever we take it — the full window cleaning process is set out on the service page, and everything we cover in this region is on the Sunshine Coast page.

FAQs

Window Cleaning in Sunshine Coast — your questions

Anything not covered here, message us and we’ll answer in plain English.

Ask on WhatsApp
Our stacker door has become hard to slide. Is that a window job?

Often it is exactly that. Sand and salt pack into the bottom track and the rollers grind against it, which feels like a mechanical fault and is usually just an unemptied track. We clear and wash the tracks as part of the job. If the rollers have already been damaged by running on grit, that needs a door repairer, and we will tell you if that is what we are looking at.

How often should coastal glass be done?

Two to four times a year for a house within a couple of streets of the water, which is more often than inland and worth budgeting for — salt film is much easier to remove before it has had six months to bond. For a holiday property, once before the season and once after is usually enough, and it fits neatly with the rest of the reset.

Do you clean the frames, tracks and flyscreens too?

Yes, as part of the job rather than as an extra. It is the difference that lasts: clean the glass, leave the frame dirty, and the first rain washes the frame down over the pane and you are back where you started. Flyscreens come off, get washed separately so they cannot re-dirty the glass, and go back on.

Can you reach upstairs windows without ladders?

We use a water-fed pole for upper storeys, so nothing leans against your render or gutters. It runs purified water, which is what lets the glass dry without spotting — there is nothing dissolved in it to leave behind. Genuine high-rise work above pole height is not something we take on.
