Window Cleaning Ipswich

Ipswich glass gets dust rather than salt. In the estates still being built out at Ripley, Spring Mountain and Springfield Lakes there is fine construction dust in the air more or less permanently, and it settles into window tracks and flyscreens until the screens themselves are what is making the glass dirty. Homes out here are also bigger, with more glass and more of it on a second storey, which is where the water-fed pole earns its keep — no ladders leaning against new render. Established suburbs are a different job again: older aluminium frames with tracks that have never been emptied.

What we get called out for in Ipswich

  • Construction dust cleared out of tracks and flyscreens in the newer estates, where the screens are often the actual problem
  • Larger two-storey homes done with a water-fed pole, so nothing leans against new render or guttering
  • Older aluminium frames and tracks in the established suburbs, emptied and washed rather than just wiped around

The method itself is the same wherever we take it — the full window cleaning process is set out on the service page, and everything we cover in this region is on the Ipswich page.

How the job runs

What happens on the day in Ipswich

  1. We count the glass

We agree what’s included, inside and out.

  2. Screens off

Washed separately, so they can’t dirty the glass again.

  3. Frames and tracks

Done first, or the next rain washes them over the glass.

  4. Glass washed

Purified water and a squeegee. Poles upstairs, no ladders.

  5. Screens back on

We check every pane in the light before we leave.

FAQs

Window Cleaning in Ipswich — your questions

Anything not covered here, message us and we’ll answer in plain English.

Ask on WhatsApp
We are in a new estate and the windows are filthy again in a fortnight. Is that us?

It is the estate. While there is active construction nearby, fine dust is in the air constantly and it lands on glass, in tracks and in flyscreen mesh. The screens matter most — a dusty screen re-dirties clean glass with the first breeze. We wash the screens separately and refit them, which is what makes a clean last longer than a fortnight around a building site.

Do you do the second storey without ladders?

Yes. A water-fed pole reaches upper storeys from the ground, which is safer and means nothing is leaning on your render, gutters or the new paint. It also uses purified water, so upstairs glass dries without spotting even though we cannot squeegee it by hand.

Do you clean the frames, tracks and flyscreens too?

Yes, as part of the job rather than as an extra. It is the difference that lasts: clean the glass, leave the frame dirty, and the first rain washes the frame down over the pane and you are back where you started. Flyscreens come off, get washed separately so they cannot re-dirty the glass, and go back on.

Can you reach upstairs windows without ladders?

We use a water-fed pole for upper storeys, so nothing leans against your render or gutters. It runs purified water, which is what lets the glass dry without spotting — there is nothing dissolved in it to leave behind. Genuine high-rise work above pole height is not something we take on.
