Commercial floor cleaning in Sunshine Coast
The Sunshine Coast runs on a season, and commercial floor work up here has to respect it. Closing a café floor at Mooloolaba through summer or the school holidays costs the business far more than the job itself, whereas the same work in a quiet month is barely noticed — so the sensible commercial calendar here is shoulder-season, and the sites that plan for it pay less in disruption than everyone else. The other constant is sand. It is abrasive, so a sealed floor at a coastal site wears through in the traffic lane noticeably faster than the same floor inland, and entries take almost all of it.

The buildings we work in around Sunshine Coast
- Cafés, restaurants, clubs and surf clubs from Caloundra through to Noosa, done between close and open
- Medical centres, dental and allied health practices at Maroochydore, Buderim, Kawana and Noosa
- Childcare centres, schools and community facilities, scheduled into holiday closures
- Holiday accommodation foyers, corridors and common areas, worked in sections around changeovers
- Retail tenancies and centre floors through Maroochydore, Kawana and Noosa Junction
- Strata lobbies, stairwells and car parks in coastal apartment buildings
What each kind of building actually needs — an office corridor versus a warehouse slab versus a childcare room — is set out on the commercial floors page. This page is about Sunshine Coast specifically.
When the work happens in Sunshine Coast
Overnight and between service for hospitality, between clinic days for medical, and into the shoulder season for anything that needs a floor genuinely out of use. If a floor is going to need doing within the year, booking it into a quiet month is the cheapest decision a coastal business will make about it.

Commercial work in Sunshine Coast — your questions
Facility managers ask us these most. Anything else, call and ask.
Ask on WhatsAppWhen is the best time of year to have this done?
The shoulder seasons, and it is worth planning for rather than reacting to. A floor closed through summer or the school holidays costs a coastal business real trade; the same job in a quiet month is invisible. We are happy to be booked months ahead for a specific quiet week — it gets you a better slot and a less compressed job.
Our entry floor wears out much faster than the rest. Why?
Sand. It acts as an abrasive against the sealer and the first few metres inside the door take almost all of it, which is normal anywhere within reach of a beach. Matting genuinely extends the life of the coating, and where an entry is wearing badly we will often recommend an extra coat there rather than an earlier full re-strip of the whole floor.
