Strip & Seal Logan
Logan's strip and seal work follows its buildings: childcare centres and schools through Springwood, Marsden and Browns Plains, medical and community health facilities, and the amenity floors in the light industrial estates at Slacks Creek, Underwood and Yatala. Childcare is the one with the least tolerance for a rushed job — a worn seal is a floor that cannot be properly sanitised, and the centre needs it back in use, fully cured, before the doors open. So Logan jobs are almost always overnight or across a weekend, and we hand back a stated hour rather than an optimistic one.
Mon to Sun, 7:00am – 9:00pm — weekends included at no extra charge

What we get called out for in Logan
- Childcare centres and kindergartens sealed overnight or across a weekend, fully cured before the doors open
- School and community facility floors booked into term breaks and pupil-free days
- Amenity blocks, lunchrooms and office floors on the industrial estates at Slacks Creek, Underwood and Yatala
The method itself is the same wherever we take it — the full strip & seal process is set out on the service page, and everything we cover in this region is on the Logan page.

What happens on the day in Logan
Assessment
We identify the floor, the coating on it, and what condition it is really in.
Area prepared
Fittings moved, skirtings and drains masked, the area closed off.
Strip
Stripper goes down, gets its dwell time, then the old coating comes off.
Deep clean
The bare floor is scrubbed, the slurry extracted, the surface neutralised.
Dry and check
We moisture-check it. Sealer over a damp floor is what goes milky.
Seal
Three to five coats, each one cured before the next goes on.
Final inspection
We walk it with you and say when it can take foot traffic again.
Strip & Seal in Logan — your questions
Anything not covered here, message us and we’ll answer in plain English.
Ask on WhatsAppHow long before children can be back on a childcare floor?
We give you a specific hour rather than a range, and it is calculated from the last coat rather than from when we packed up. Light foot traffic is typically possible several hours after the final coat; a floor that is going to have children sitting on it wants the full cure, which usually means the sealing finishes on a Saturday for a Monday open. We would rather tell you that up front than have you reopen early on a floor that has not hardened.
Do you carry safety data sheets for the products used on site?
Yes, and for childcare, schools and medical sites we provide them as part of the written scope rather than waiting to be asked. You also get a scope of work and a fixed price before we start, site induction and sign-in completed to your building's requirements, and a photo record on completion for your own reporting.
How long does a strip and seal take, and when can we walk on it?
The strip and the deep clean are the fast part. What sets the timeline is curing: the floor has to be neutralised and properly dry before any sealer goes on, and each of the three to five coats has to cure before the next. A typical office suite is an overnight job; a large site is staged across a weekend or a shutdown. Light foot traffic is usually possible several hours after the last coat, and we give you the exact hour before we leave rather than a guess.
Which floors can be stripped and sealed?
The ones built to carry a coating: vinyl sheet and VCT, lino, sealed concrete and some sealed tile. Unsealed timber wants sanding, not stripping. And a floor that is gouged, cupped or delaminating will still be gouged, cupped and delaminating under new sealer — a fresh coat makes a tired floor look new, but it does not repair one. We identify which you have at the assessment.
