Pressure Cleaning Gold Coast
On the Gold Coast the pressure cleaning is mostly around water — pool surrounds, canal-side pavers, podium decks and the driveways of homes close enough to the beach to be collecting salt as well as mould. Salt film is the part people underestimate: it holds moisture against the surface, which is why a Gold Coast paver goes green faster than the same paver inland, and it is why washing without treating gets a shorter run out of the job. Pavers are also the dominant surface here rather than poured concrete, and pavers need the joints re-sanded afterwards or the wash has quietly done damage.

What we get called out for in Gold Coast
- Pool surrounds and canal-side pavers, with the joints re-sanded afterwards where the wash has opened them up
- Driveways and entries at coastal homes, treated for the salt film that makes growth return faster near the water
- Podium decks, common paths and car park aprons in strata buildings, quoted per building with a photo record
The method itself is the same wherever we take it — the full pressure cleaning process is set out on the service page, and everything we cover in this region is on the Gold Coast page.

Pressure Cleaning in Gold Coast — your questions
Anything not covered here, message us and we’ll answer in plain English.
Ask on WhatsAppWill pressure cleaning wreck my pavers?
Not the pavers, but it will blow the sand out of the joints if it is done carelessly, and once the joints are empty the pavers start to move and weeds get in. That is the actual damage most people end up with. We re-sand the joints as part of the job wherever the wash has opened them up, which is most of the time on a paved pool surround.
How long will a pool surround stay clean here?
Longer than most people expect if the growth is killed rather than knocked back, and shorter than inland regardless — salt holds moisture, and moisture is what mould wants. A treated and washed surround in a sunny position typically runs well over a year. A shaded one on the water will be shorter, and sealing is worth costing if you are tired of doing it.
Why does the mould come straight back after a pressure clean?
Because pressure alone only knocks the top off it. Most of what looks like dirt on Queensland concrete is biological — mould, algae and lichen living on moisture in the shade — and the root system stays in the surface after the visible growth is blasted away. We put a treatment down that kills it first and then wash, which is why our work stays clean noticeably longer than a wash on its own.
Will pressure cleaning damage my pavers, sandstone or render?
It will if the pressure is wrong, and this is where most damage happens. Full pressure strips render, destroys sandstone, forces water behind cladding and blows the sand straight out of paver joints. We match the pressure and the method to the surface, and re-sand paver joints afterwards where the wash has opened them up.
