Graffiti Removal Brisbane

Brisbane's graffiti work is concentrated where the foot traffic is: the inner-city walls through West End, Fortitude Valley, Woolloongabba and along the rail corridors, plus the roller doors and side walls of small businesses on the suburban strips. The substrate is the whole job here, because inner Brisbane is largely old brick. Porous, unsealed, weathered brick has absorbed the pigment below the surface, and blasting it takes the face off the masonry and leaves a light patch that is more visible than the tag was. That needs a poultice, not pressure. Body corporates and business owners make up most of who calls us.

What we get called out for in Brisbane

  • Old porous brick through the inner suburbs, where pigment has to be drawn back out with a poultice rather than blasted off
  • Roller doors, shopfront side walls and service laneways on the suburban retail strips, attended within a day or two
  • Body corporate and commercial frontages, with a photo record for insurance, council or committee reporting

The method itself is the same wherever we take it — the full graffiti removal process is set out on the service page, and everything we cover in this region is on the Brisbane page.

  5. Photos and coating

Photos for your records, plus a coating if it keeps happening.

FAQs

Graffiti Removal in Brisbane — your questions

Anything not covered here, message us and we’ll answer in plain English.

Ask on WhatsApp
Our building is heritage-listed brick. Can it be cleaned safely?

Carefully, and never with pressure. Weathered heritage brick has a fired outer face that is the only part resisting water, and blasting removes it permanently — the light patch that leaves is worse than the tag and it cannot be undone. It wants a poultice that draws the pigment back out of the pores, tested out of sight first. If a wall is genuinely too fragile we will say so rather than take the job.

How fast can you get to a shopfront in the Valley?

Usually within a day or two — we work seven days on graffiti and prioritise it, because the result is materially better on fresh paint and because a tag left up attracts more. If it is a customer-facing frontage, say so when you call and we will treat it accordingly.

How quickly can you remove graffiti?

We treat it as urgent and work seven days on it, usually attending within a day or two. Speed genuinely changes the result: fresh paint has not fully cured into the substrate and comes off far more completely, and a tag left up attracts more tags. If it is on a shopfront or a body corporate frontage, tell us and we will prioritise it.

Can graffiti be removed from brick without leaving a mark?

Usually, with the right method. Porous brick, block and unsealed concrete have absorbed pigment below the surface, so it has to be drawn back out with a poultice. What leaves a permanent mark is pressure: blasting porous masonry takes the weathered face off the brick and leaves a light patch that looks worse than the tag did. We test out of sight first on anything we have not seen before.
